What to bring to your X-ray appointment.
Chiro & Sports Med provides onsite x-ray imaging to our patients. Before you come in for your x-ray appointment – it may be ideal if you have any of the following things to bring it along with you.
• Please be sure to bring along any previous X-Rays, CT scans, ultrasound, or MRI examinations/reports which you may have available. If you also have had previous images taken in our practice, these can be electronically retrieved.
• Method of payment including Medicare and/or a health care card.
• For WorkCover claims or Motor Vehicle claims. You will need the claim number, claim officer’s name and phone number, and any other relevant details.
Capital Radiology runs the on-site imaging service at Chiro & Sports Med and all studies are examined by specialist radiologists. Therefore, this test is particularly useful in diagnosing conditions or diseases that affect the bones, back, and chest.
All of our Spectrum radiologists are members of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. Our radiographers have extensive experience in chiropractic and allied health diagnostic imaging and the on-site X-Ray service ensures your chiropractor understands your clinical issues, especially when deciding the best course of action to improve and maintain your health.
