The common goal of all chiropractic treatment is to restore or enhance joint function, with the result of resolving joint inflammation and reducing pain.

Joint mobilisations and adjustments help to restore the lost joint play due to injury or disease. Consequently, it aids in breaking down adhesions that disrupt joint movement, decreases pain, and increases mobility.  There are different grades of joint mobilisations used at Chiro & Sports Med based on how much joint play is available.  The chiropractor can perform this technique both on the spine and extremity joints.

Joint adjustments are a classic chiropractic technique that uses specific manual thrusts focused on restoring normal biomechanical function. The most common adjustment technique used at Chiro & Sports Med is called the Diversified Technique. Diversified is the most effective chiropractic corrective technique and is different from other techniques. For example in that, its aim is to restore proper movement and alignment of the spine and joint dysfunction. This technique involves a short-lever, high-velocity movement with specific contact to the affected area on the spine or extremity joints.
