What can an X-Ray show?

Home > Services > Digital X-Ray > What can an X-Ray show?

An X-ray is a quick, painless test that produces images of the structures inside your body — particularly your bones. Both visible light and X-Rays consist of photon particles conveyed over electromagnetic energy. When controlled carefully, this energy can reveal the internal structure of the body. For example dense materials, such as bone and metal.

What can an x-ray show:

  • It can provide a structural record of your spine and/or peripheral joints
  • Rule out cancer, disease or other pathologies
  • Locate fractures, infections or other signs of trauma
  • Identify evidence of long term spinal decay
  • Confirm other examination findings
  • Arthritis
