A simple conversation amongst two mates about the disappearance of the moustache in 2003 led to an idea that resulted in Movember. 18 years later, Movember has campaigns in 21 countries and has raised more than $730 million to fund over 1250 men’s health programs.

This month of August is Tradie National Health Month. So to all the tradie’s out there listen up. We know it’s hard work being a tradie. Waking up at dawn, getting straight into a physically demanding job, and the prolonged strain on the body over long hours, this all adds up.

So, it’s not surprising that according to statistics from Safe Work Australia in 2016 “labourers accounted for the highest percentage of serious musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) claims with the highest frequency rate”. This was three times higher than the rate of all employees.
